This aired on Letterman last month, but as usual I'm a day late and a dollar short. I think it encompasses everything I love about David Letterman, and have loved since junior high. This, and the fact that he was so openly bitter about giving up coffee after his quintuple bypass surgery a few years ago. He took his first sip of decaf coffee on the air and proclaimed, "Well, that's just useless crap." David Letterman is one of those guys who you know in your day to day life, and make you laugh like no one else, but never get any recognition or attention because they're chemical engineers or shipping/receiving managers. Dave just happened to be the one guy who got the credit he deserves. Anyway, on with the show. It's a little long, but worth it.
I am an avid reader who is fascinated and often frustrated by the world around me. I love details; God is in the details. I remember everything. I fear being bored (and being boring), but have lately come to realize that there is something interesting about almost everyone.
